Kurse was formed in early 1997,by the vocalist/lead,SARAVANAN,bassist,SATHYA,and ex-drummer,GANESAN. Playing a mixture of DEATH and BLACK metal,they tried to create a new font for metal music.Their influnce include DESULTORY,GRAVE,MORBID ANGEL,ENTOMED,EMPORER,SEPULTURA,.. During this period,a new member was joined by kurse.Simon was intoduced to the band in eary 1998 as a rythmn guitarist.All this while kurse was still yet to come with a full pledged album.As they were about to release an album,their drummer left them unexpectedly.A search for a new drummer began.At first Simon was thought to be good choice,but then his expertise was in rythmns.Slowly kurse began to deprogress.Left without a drummer they were unable to release their up coming album.Members of kurse at a point even thought of breaking up the band.
